JAMES KOCH, PA-C is certified by the National
Com- mission of Certification of Physician Assistants. James received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology in
1993, from St. Edwards University in Austin Texas. This degree was followed by his obtaining his Texas EMT
certification in 1991. In 1994, James was licensed as a Paramedic in the state of Texas. James worked as a
Paramedic and Volunteer Firefighter prior to entering Physician Assistant School at MCP Hahnemann University
in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1999.
Since graduation in 2001, James has worked in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, and Dermatology. James joined Advanced
Pain Care in 2004, and after a one year absence from the practice, returned in 2009. Professional memberships include
membership in the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. James is
married with four children. He enjoys sports, outdoor activities, and reading.
SHERRI DAVIDSON, RN, MSN, BC, ACNP, APRN graduated with honors from McLennan Community College with ADN in 1989, graduated Cum Laude from University of Texas at Arlington with BSN in 1992 and MSN in 1997. Prior to working at Advanced Pain Care, Sherri worked for 20 years at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in various capacities including nurse manager of the ICU and hospitalist. Coordinated implementation of a trauma and open heart surgery program at Hillcrest. Worked 2 years in internal medicine and 7 years in Neurology. Served as past secretary for the Texas Nurse Practitioners and Central Texas Nurse Practitioners. She is married with 3 children and lives in China Spring, Texas.
Sherri is also a member of the Waco Tri Club, Waco Striders, and Waco Bike club and served as secretary for the Waco Striders and Tri Club. She completed her first marathon in 2009 and plans on completing in her first triathlon in 2011. Her other hobbies include watching her children's sporting activities, including baseball, basketball, cross country and golf.
LESLIE ESCALANTE, PA-C is certified by the National Commission of Certification for Physician Assistants. Leslie performed her undergraduate work at Midland College in Midland, Texas and at Texas Tech University. She then received her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas.
She joined Advanced Pain Care in 2006. Prior to her current position she worked in two preventative medicine practices, as well as another pain management practice.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and the Central Texas Physician Assistant Society.
